Privacy Policy — Ring Escape
Last updated: 2 July 2026
Ring Escape ("the Game") is developed by Little Middle Idles ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Game collects, how it is used, and your choices. By playing the Game you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Advertising data: We use Google AdMob to show rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier and related technical data to serve, limit, and measure ads.
- Purchases: In-app purchases are processed by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive purchase status (for example, whether you purchased "Remove Ads" or a gem pack). We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Google Sign-In (optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive an anonymous account identifier (a Google "subject"/sub ID) to give you a stable player identity. We do not receive or store your real name or email address.
- Leaderboard (only if you submit a score): If you appear on the leaderboard, we store a chosen display name and your score/level on our servers, keyed to your player identifier, to show rankings.
- Cloud save (optional, requires Google Sign-In): If you are signed in with Google, your game progress (level, currencies, upgrades — the same data otherwise kept only on your device) is backed up to our servers, keyed to your anonymous Google identifier, so you can restore it after reinstalling or on a new device. This backup contains no name, email, or other personal identifiers.
- Local game data: Your progress and settings are stored locally on your device. It is sent to our servers only (a) as part of a leaderboard submission, or (b) as a cloud-save backup if you are signed in with Google (see above).
- Crash & diagnostics data: We use Sentry to record automatic crash and error reports so we can fix problems. These reports may include the error and a technical stack trace, your device model, operating system and app version, and a short trail of recent in-app events (such as which screens or network requests preceded the error). This trail may include an anonymous player identifier, but contains no real name, email address, or precise location. We do not use this data for advertising.
We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location.
2. How we use information
- To display advertisements and process in-app purchases.
- To operate the optional leaderboard.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the Game.
3. Third-party services
The Game relies on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
4. Children
The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). It contains advertising and in-app purchases. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.
5. Data retention & deletion
Leaderboard and cloud-save data are retained while the Game operates. You may request deletion of your server-side data (leaderboard entry and cloud save) at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page or email us. Local game data is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data in your device settings. Crash and diagnostics reports are retained by Sentry for a limited period according to Sentry's data-retention policy and are then deleted automatically.
6. Your choices
- You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
- You can purchase "Remove Ads" to stop seeing advertisements.
- You can choose not to submit a score to the leaderboard.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
